A giant in military logistics
Commissioned by the French Air Force in 2013, the A400M is capable of transporting heavy equipment, helicopters, armoured vehicles and up to 116 fully-equipped soldiers. It can land on short or summarily prepared runways, and refuel other aircraft or helicopters in flight thanks to its modular equipment.
A show of force
Despite its impressive wingspan and size, the A400M surprises with its ability to perform spectacular manoeuvres in flight: tight turns, steep climbs, controlled stalls and short approaches.
