The Avro Anson Mk.I, serial number MH120, was manufactured in 1943 and is now the only airworthy example of the original Mk.I version in the world. It arrived at No. 2 Aircraft Park in Bankstown, New Zealand, on 20 March 1944. In 1953, it was sold to Greenfield's Air Taxis in Albury for just £100. It was then displayed for 12 years at the Wangaratta Air World Museum before being purchased by Bill Reid, then by Richard Stratus in 2025.
